Employee Evaluation

The major HR processes include also the evaluation process (annual evaluation). The purpose of this process is to provide to the employee the feedback on quality of his/her work, to the manager an opportunity to speak to his/her people on a regular basis, and to both the setting of new objectives and performance criteria, which can become standards for financial and nonfinancial evaluation of employees.

Currently the evaluation process is often based purely on paper documents and requires a considerable administrative load for the evaluator, the evaluated and other personnel having to prepare and process the materials.

The second extreme is a completely anonymous evaluation process where “present-day” managers suppose that the evaluation can be checked off by themselves and the employee logging onto the company information system with no interviews being necessary. Both of these methods bring a certain quantifiable benefit (personal contact / cost saving), but unfortunately none of them is apt to meet the contemporary challenges and needs of contemporary people.

That is why our evaluation product is based on the platform of electronic Adobe forms, thus integrating the advantages of the two above mentioned methods. Their process-based implementation encourages the people to meet, to exchange information and to propose objectives, compensations and solutions and, on the other hand, their electronic form relieves the administrative load and keeps the process under a very strict control. An immediate posting of information to the SAP is a matter of course.

The electronic forms provide for an easy way of converting the obsolete company “paper” processes into electronic documents. They are, apart from other benefits, an excellent tool for feedback. HR applications present a considerable part of contemporary paper-based processes, therefore electronic forms are an excellent path towards the savings in administration.
