SAP XI is a platform for process integration both for the mySAP™ Business Suite components and for third party products.

The situation when a need for centralized processes arises and your applications are in a heterogeneous environment is no more intimidating. This tool supports creating of information scenarios, meeting the requirements on process optimization. Moreover, the scenarios are very affordable and the existing applications don’t need to be altered.

SAP XI contains open integration technologies (for example XML or JAVA/J2EE) providing process integration of enterprise applications both from SAP and other vendors, both within and outside the company. SAP XI includes an integration broker and supports comprehensive management of business processes even if a process is supported by several enterprise applications. The SAP Web AS is used as the application server for SAP XI.
